What are Anxiety Disorders?

Anxiety is a normal emotion in our day to day life. It protects us and makes our body and mind perform better in situations that are life-threatening or where we need to be on top of our performance. It evolved through thousands of years and helped our ancestors to protect themselves from wild animals by fighting them or running away from them, hence the term is “fight or flight.”

But sometimes what seemed to be helping us go way out of control and instead of being a useful function that protects and serves, it anxiety starts controlling our lives and becomes problem standing in a way of leading a normal happy life.

Whether it was some kind of stressful event or something that scared us to death that made our brain to react to any situation as a threat to our lives is not the question. The question is how to put our lives back on the track and preferably without the help of strong, body-damaging drugs. The answer to this question is simple and consists of three words – One-Touch-Technique. But before we get to that let’s find out what is anxiety disorder.

There are five major types of anxiety disorder:

  • General anxiety disorder
  • Panic disorder
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Social phobia or social anxiety disorder
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Symptoms of Anxiety disorder will differ from man to man, mostly because anxiety disorder is a group of related conditions and not just one big disorder. So for one man anxiety attacks can build up, for others it might strike without a warning with its full strength, while for some only a thought of speaking in public will be enough to experience a panic attack.

But sufferers from anxiety disorder have one thing in common. It’s the constant feeling of fear or worry, in daily situations that most people wouldn’t consider threatening at all.

Such people will often have constant headaches, won’t be able to fall asleep easily, experience a constant tension in muscles, their breathing will be short, they will experience frequent urination or diarrhea, sweating and pounding heart.

Most of the time, due to the high stress levels in their lives, people who suffer from anxiety disorder will also suffer from a depression at some point. These two mental illnesses go hand in hand and is believed to stem from the same biological vulnerability.

Luckily there is easy natural, drug-free cure for anxiety disorder and even depression.
